When editing drums in elastic audio, I have to do most of the editing manually. If I select 8 bars of audio, then quantise it to the grid setting I want, it doesn't always pick the warp markers I want. For example, it may pick up on the kick in the snare track and quantise that instead of the actual kick, therefore offsetting my kick by a few milliseconds...

If you could set certain tracks to be dominant/controller tracks, and others to be slaves, you could then select a full group of drums, quantise a section and have it only pay attention to warp markers within the "snare" or "kick". Even similar to beat detective where you could "warp" the snare, then warp the kick and it would still retain the kick edits...
It's hard to explain over here but I think this gets the point across. It would save hours in editing.
