As you do with the M-Audio Keyboard and with the C24, allow users to custom map 3rd party plug-ins on the Artist Series
Lots of knobs with buttons to map 7 band parametric EQ's, etc. like D-Control does. Would also be great for synthesizers, delays, reverbs, anything that has more parameters than can be addressed with the 8 encoders on current units so as not having to scroll through page after page.
I would like to see a new compact mixing control surface that will replace the Command 8 and the MC Control. Put the best of the Artist series controllers and the best of the Avid control surface together. 1. First would have to be full EuCon support. You should be able to expand to 32 faders (four units) with a transport unit like the MC Transport (or even better, include the function in a main surface, then have expandable ...more »
I would like to be able to program a default function of the Shuttle and Jog Wheel instead of having to press a soft key to engage a function I use 90% of the time. In Protools and Reason, I primarily use the Jog wheel to jog through the session and the Shuttle Wheel to scrub audio. This would free-up precious soft key real estate which I can use for other important things like Markers Jumps.
Focus Channel Window for HD (with the ability to interface with an iPad via iOS eucon app from Avid). This new "window" in ProTools could allow 1 of 3 selection tabs: 1. "Focus channel" (with tabs for a transport, automation control, memory locations, groups, ext) 2. "Active plug-ings" on selected (highlighted) channel in Pro Tools. 3. A user defined Audio Suite plug-in(s) selection (via a user saved pre sets). ...more »
Make a panning window layout that is similar to Pro Tools. Surround panning on the MC Controls touchscreen is good for pannings that go round your head, but you can't reach the extreme L/R/Ls/Rs-positions.
Map EQ3 to MC Control better,
Add 'Q' adjustment
Release a Euphonix-branded single motorised fader and transport controller with a small desktop footprint akin to the Frontier Alphatrack and PreSonus FaderPort but much better and with EuCon integration. Would be very handy for portable rigs who don't want to drag around their MC Control or MC Mix.
The Faders on the Artist series get so fast in position at loading or unloading a session, that sometimes the fadercaps jump off. Please make that a bit softer.
Allow the selection of pre or post insert when patching cascade on the mix busses. This would allow the other mixer to use the processing on the buss.
Allow the user to quickly move around a session by using the wheel in "Jog" mode. In logic, jog mode moves the playhead a bar at a time. You can quickly move forward and backward in a track. PT only seems to have a shuttle & scrub mode and is not able to duplicated this behavior.
