When batch fading, the fade dialog box essentially has 3 sections. fade in, crossfade, and fade out. When I do a "Paste to Fill Selection", the fade dialog only has the ability to control crossfades. It would be nice to have the same functionality in both places.
I normally solo tracks with the shortcut Shift+S. When an Mix/Edit Group as specified in the Group Globals is set to Solo and Mute, all Tracks of the group follow the solo shortcut. In most cases this is desired, but often I want to solo just one track without suspending the groups. I know there is a modifier Ctrl (Mac) with which I could click the solo button to achieve this, But unfortunately not as a shortcut. Shorcuts ...more »
When Importing Video files to a session, Alt+Shft+Cmd+I adds a video to a session
Can we add another modifier to make it copy and import and put the video in the video files folder.
Would love a quick(er) way to remove errant pan info from a clip, similar to the clip gain reset hotkey combo.

The 9-pin serial ports on DNxIO are untested with Pro Tools.
With all the post-production projects ProTools is used for, I can't understand why, in 2017, there's no built-in auto-conform feature. Seems like an obvious, fairly simple feature the program should have had years ago. Why must we go to a third-party application, or spend hours typing to simply transfer time code numbers from an EDL or OMF? Isn't that the sort of thing computers are supposed to be good at?
When unauthorized plugin screen comes up allow to select some plugins and not be forced to leave them all or move them all.
"Split into Mono is great, but the opposite would be excellent too. I do it all the time and a quick select and combine feature would be a real time saver.
I thought we straightened this out. I should not have to turn on automation to send midi volume controller data to a midi instrument. Or any controller data.Modulation and sustain, among others, are not affected by automation. Nor should the rest of the data (unless options could be set). Please remove any midi controller data that currently exists in Pro Tools Automation tree
A plugin insert section on an audio track that commits any processing while recording. Currently, the only way to commit processing while tracking in protools in to have the audio come in on an auxiliary track, apply eq, compression, etc, and then bus it to an audio track to be recorded. This takes up space in the box and is a hassle that can sometimes cause confusion in the middle of a hectic recording session. This ...more »
