"Open Recent..." should show more than just the ten most recent sessions. I usually can't find a session I worked on two days ago because this is limited to 10. I'm constantly retitling sessions with appended names ( "basics", or "drum comp", or "vox tuned"), plus I am working with up to ten different artists at any given time. Why not 50 most recent? Why not let user decide the quantity in preferences?
It would be great is there's a cancel button when bouncing to QuickTime file. Please disregard if it's been implemented in 12.7.1.
It would be really helpful if, when moving all regions in a track, a group of tracks or an entire session to a new location in time using the Apple—H command, if there were a check box in the dialog window that, when checked would move all the playlists for said track(s) the same amount as the surface playlist.
It would be incredibly handy to have a way to export all or all selected tracks through plugins at a single time in order to build a stem mix. This would also require the ability to bounce through busses as well but would be mighty handy.
It would very nice indeed to have notes per take. When tracking it is vital to keep good notes about which take areas are good or bad. Rating them does nothing to alleviate this and having a single note section makes it cumbersome to go through. Usually these notes are small and don't take up a lot of room so maybe have another clip view where we can place notes directly on the clip. How it is done is less important than ...more »

hi, Pre-Insert Send for NON-HD systems to avoid timing issues when using side chain ... this would be most helpful .. would be nice to be able to move the Send before an Insert for side chain and parallel compression ..
In the Save Session Copy dialog box you can set Audio File Type, Sample Rate, and Bit Depth, but not interleaved/non-interleaved status. (See attached pic.) Since this dialog box allows you to make those other transformations, why not include "interleaved" as a check box, just as in the Session Setup window? Not infrequently I find myself working with non-interleaved files (e.g., from people who have an older version ...more »
We have to refresh the licenses manually within 48 hours of the expiration. We are not able to check the contract periods on iLok License Manager.
We would like to renew the PT/PTHD Plan licenses automatically, and would like to check the contract periods on iLok License Manager.
To me, one of the top features in Logic (and even GarageBand), but missing from ProTools, is this: Being able to put down a drum track, tell it where to play, tweak the complexity/loudness/fills/swing/etc, and straight away get a pretty decent 'human'-sounding drum track. It can even be copied to a MIDI track, tweaked and put to any instrument. (See attached screenshot if you're not familiar with this Logic feature). ...more »
When butting up two clips system automatically generates a crossfade. Crossfade perimeters change based on how far you push one clip into the other.
It's time consuming to always have to stop stop playback before being able to enable loop. Much better to be able to enable/disable loop play on the fly.
