If the router supplying EuCon connectivity to the Dock becomes unavailable (crashes) the Dock hardware becomes unresponsive. It does show up in the EuControl Surfaces tab but nothing on the Dock works, not even the power switch. I have to pull the power supply from the wall in order for the Dock to recover and operate normally. Maybe these are features but I understand them as bugs. First off the default state of the 12 soft keys on the dock surface is un-lit basically disabled, this is confusing why they seem to have no default function and no unique assignment possible from the EuControl app. They are basically dead. I can not understand, that a product that is used in a space where it is necessary that the equipment make little or no noise, has faders so noisy. In Vegas mode is heard.
When you perform certain functions like for example "commit track", "delete track" or even just tabbing away from ProTools to say Safari, the soft keys become focussed away and do not function. To refocus them I have to hit the "Soft Keys" button on the dock twice each time. This is also true for the Alt functions of the automation keys.
Please improve the rotary encoder kinetics. At the moment they are jumpy, either responding to slow or to fast. They need to be much more linear.
