Pro Tools 10.3.10 and 11.3.1 Support For OSX 10.9-10.10

Having the ability to successfully, use Pro Tools in a 32 bit-and 64 bit option, is only available for those users that are on Mountain Lion. I feel that, if able to scale up, why not? Its never going to be depleted(32-bit). So I can only hope that it can be worked on for all OSX beyond Build 12F37.

"Delete unused playlists" improvements

An option to automatically delete empty playlists could be implemented: a) by adding a ‘real’ “Delete unused” playlists, which deletes any alternate playlist which doesn't contain any clip in it (empty active playlists would remain); b) by adding a button in the current Delete playlists dialog saying “Select unused”, following the same criterion above. This is a better implementation, since it leaves the possibility ...more »

Keyboard Shortcut for "Back & Play"

Currently there is no keyboard shortcut for the Back & Play feature. The only way to access this is by Command + Clicking on the rewind button or mapping it to a key on the Artist Series or via the dedicated Back & Play key on the S6. A Keyboard shortcut for this feature would be so useful.

Solo button in plug-in window

Add a solo button to the Plug In window. Just like in the floating window (sends). Would be a great time-saver. If possible, also add the auto mode and a miniature fader + pan, just like the volume in the edit window. That would be awesome.

Wait, and add a +3dB button that I could use instead of solo, just like SSL's solo in front...

Thanks.

AudioSuite menu recently used history

A list of the last five used AudioSuite plug-ins, in chronological order, starting with the most recent. To be placed above default plug-ins in the AudioSuite menu. Could be displayed optionally via a preference. Similar in operation to plug-in list by category and manufacturer. I could consolidate this with the AudioSuite shortcut, but I'm more interested in the list. For many workflows and users this would be ...more »

Pro Tools bugs

Vertical scroll display issue PTHD 11.3x

When dragging clips up to tracks that are currently not displayed in the edit window, bringing them into view reveals glitchy waveforms that do not align with the tracks they are supposedly on. This makes it hard to drop the clips into the intended track.

Pre Post Roll Shortcut

Since last version of protools, we have lost the shortcut "Alt + /" to navigate and adjust values in the transport window, like "Pre & Post rol"l, "start", "end" & "Length". Pre & post roll are very usefull. Or give the ability to have acces with macro.

Drum notation

The Sibelius editor inside Protools needs to include classic drum notation. Yes, drummers are also part of the band. Most pro drummers use drum notation to write their ideas. And it should work seamlessly with the midi editor, obviously. Sibelius software has drum notation, you can export midi, or rewire etc but that is a damn painful workflow. Now Logic had this feature even before Apple bought it. As a drummer myself, ...more »

S3 bugs

S3 banks to the last member of a edit group

This might make sense for Mix Groups but certainly not for Edit Groups.

Reproduce:

Make Edit Group of two tracks.

Select first track of your group (or edit with "Track selection follows Edit selction")

In a session with many tracks you end up with the last member of the group being on Fader 1.

AAX32 Plug Ins Should Delete its DPM Companion.

This is an obvious RAM Killer. Most over, an issue that leads me to beleive Avid, probobably will leave it to the consumer to sort it out. Scaling up, I think that any dpm to AAX 64 Bridger, would be making a lot of people happy to make the upgrade!
