Preserve fade-length when clearing a clip with a crossfade

The resulting Fade-Out of the red clip should be the original length of the Crossfade (should sound the same), but the fade is instead trimmed to the middle of the Crossfade (half as long).

If instead the red Clip is cleared, then the same problem applies for the resulting Fade-In-Length of the blue clip: Only half of the previous (and expected) fade-length remains.

However the length of each fade and crossfade defaults to 10 ms. I would like to be able to set a default for the lengths of these fades. ++++++++++++++++++++++++ Side note: In ...more »

Fade Window should have optional timecode resolution (locked to session TC format), rather than just milliseconds

Love the updated Fade Window in Pro Tools 12. My only issue is I work in various timecode frame rates so trying to cut sound effects in millisecond resolution isn't convenient. How many milliseconds in duration is a frame at 29.97, 23.976 or 25 frames? I'd love the option to have this window lock itself to the session timecode resolution and allow quick and easy quarter frame, half frame, 1 frame and multiple frame input ...more »

Batch Fades window doesn't appear with Paste to Fill Selection

New batch fades window from 12.3 is great, but the Paste to Fill Selection command (for example with room tone or a loop) doesn't summon the new Batch Fades window, it brings up the old one and you have no control over fade in/outs. If you bring up the new Batch Fades window, and set the preferences for fade in outs (Create new fade-ins and durations etc) apply as set when creating Batch Fades with Paste to Fill Selection. ...more »
