Allow PROTOOLS CONTROL APP to provide personal mixes. For example: Create a send on each channel and allow up to 16 users /individual mixes from that send. Kind of like PRESONUS QMix does. This would be an INCREDIBLE feature for recording. All the studio would have to do is use hardware outs to feed the headphone amps and give each musician their own mix...
Using 1 transport and 2 artists. If I lock the artists to an application, it locks the transport as well. When I deselect the transport I can use it in another application, but eucontrol doesn't remember it being deselected. So after a reboot I have to deselect the transport again when using the same app I have locked the artists to. It remembers all or nothing.
Updating items in the application manager is an enormous pain. I currently have 18 items that need to be updated. For each of these items, I have to: * Click Update * Click Install * Click five different Agree/Continue/etc. buttons * Enter my password That's for each item. It would great if Avid would allow third party plugin developers to handle their updates through Avid's Application Manager. All updates could conveniently be done from within Protools. Power to the user!
Let people organise the their plugins menu into folders & sub-folders the way they want. The plugin layout would be done with an Avid Standalone Application on the desktop (before loading Pro Tools) where the user can setup folders, sub-folders and place all the plugins into the desired place.
