the option "automatically Copy files on Import" under processing in PT preference should be Checked as default. Because PT's default is to have this option unchecked, sometimes when PT crashes and it's database corrupts and preference resets, it will unchecked this option without the user's consent. After opening a session an getting the Missing Files Dialog, when chosing manual or automatic. Keyboard focus should switch to the Relink Window. Further ther should be shortcuts for "Find Links" and "Commit Links" Button
The Ability to record in the "Clip Source Window" a wild mono or stereo track, where the clip ends up in the Clip menu or a specified folder i.e Wild VO Records, saves a lot of time and maintains a clean timeline, rather than having to navigate through unneeded extra

I want to be able to drag and drop a video and have it copied to the session videos directory. Better yet, there should just be one catch-all preference that allows you the option to copy all file types (audio, video, etc) on import. Pro Tools makes it incredibly difficult to make sure you've copied all files to your session. It should be MUCH easier to avoid missing files in Pro Tools sessions. Especially hard drives ...more »
When I get a faulty OMF (containing much more timeline and clips than the actual video) I usually import, cleanup and import that in a new session again. Because:
When selecting and removing unused data, you have to click "yes" or " no" for every single file. So when it's 10294 files you have to say "yes" or "no" for all 10294 files, no way to get out of it.
