When the user imports a video clip, please run a check of Session setup window-->Timecode Rate against the frame rate of the video clip. If there is a mismatch, then display a warning that effectively says "The frame rate of the video you have imported does not match the timecode rate of your session. What would you like to do?" please fix the bug - in pt v12.5 , 12.6 one cannot make a sync point in the video track - this has previously been a function of pro tools for many prior years.
I want to be able to drag and drop a video and have it copied to the session videos directory. Better yet, there should just be one catch-all preference that allows you the option to copy all file types (audio, video, etc) on import. Pro Tools makes it incredibly difficult to make sure you've copied all files to your session. It should be MUCH easier to avoid missing files in Pro Tools sessions. Especially hard drives ...more »

Can we add another modifier to make it copy and import and put the video in the video files folder.

I would like to have an option to toggle the video playback between "start of clip" and "cursor position" when moving/copying a clip. This would be useful for postproduction guys trying to place a specific transient inside a clip without having to trim the clip, move and then recover the handle.
Sync HD with Video Refence Out for PCIe Video Card
Since this device is a Clock it should also be able to clock a PCe Video Ouput Card! (Reference In)
So it is able to avoid drift bettwen Video and Audio when using a PCIe Card for Video Playback.
I hope it will be possible in "future" Pro Tools HD to have video-plugins...
