It would be cool to have the option to have the waveform of a clip updated so it shows the the changes made with clip effects. Waveforms would look the same as if you rendered the clip effect only you don't have to render and can easily change clip effects parameters later on
Make it possible to flip parameters for example the gain of en eq-band by pressing shift and option/alt and touching the correspondent knob or fader on the control surface. Just like if you shift option-click control points in the EQ graph.
When committing aux tracks you often get a lot of silent clips. Committed clips is created even if no audio is sent to the aux track. In the what's new in Pro Tools 12.3 document it says: "Committed Auxiliary Input tracks reference the clip boundaries from audio tracks routed to the input of the Auxiliary Input track and preserve them whenever possible." When using the Pro Tools S3 with EQ3 7-band or Channel strip plugin the parameter slope is missing when you press EQ in the upper row knobs on the console. This is really annoying since every other parameter is there. Another thing is that the HPF and LPF enable buttons can be edited both with the in button and a knob. A simple solution would be to use this knob for the slope parameter instead.
It would be nice to be able to undo AudioSuite processes and even modify them on clips, like offline process history in Cubase/Nuendo
