PT v8.0.3cs no likes Canopus

I have to unplug my Canopus when opening a session.
Terrible bug & hope it's fixed soon.

Under the export pulldown menu: "Export Selected as Session". This would apply to selected tracks or areas of a session.

Usually I'd not like too much 'fluff' but this seems very interesting. Maybe even just being able to increase the Font size in the comments on each track could be nice.

Yes! I wish I could many many more times on my personal frustration with the huge LE-HD divide.
No single quirk of the software drives me nuts than having to explain to clients & other users that you can do that but not this just because this is HD and that is HD or heaven forbid M-Audio.

It's been one of the strangest things since Avid bought Digidesigns many years ago, that there is such difficulty getting from Avid to proTools.

I use the Quickeys application for this, which I used since mac OS6. It's best feature is can use it with other applications.

I use the multi-Tool, selecting the area or region and then hit "E" or "control F"

If you do as Pierrevc suggests with "Destructive REcord" then you don't have to consolidate.

Oh Region Groups. Sadly a lost cause in my book - so many automation, conforming & other issues I've giving up Digidesign ever 'getting it'.

Sure it would help; you copy all from the source session and go to point in the target session & paste.

The other point is that only one session would need be 'active' if there has to be a compromise.

Sorry guys, I'd rather not give up DSP on every track for this. Even though I'd probably even buy such a nice variable phase shifter.

This depends on which controller. I wish my HUI would switch to level, it just always shows Track Name.

A huge problem with ProTools has always been a stone wall for interchange of data. I hope this forum will bring attention to this.

Even better yet would be to allow more than one session to be open! Then you could have a trimmer track in another session to work with.

I can scrub with a buss output, but not when it's an Audio track that is the output.

Personally I think to get rid of the regions list and move it's functions into the browser. A separate window, that I can hide, sort, serach or resize....

I just meant pushing the scroll wheel/button sideways slides, or scrolls the edit page, Horizontally.

I think there are many valid ideas that are of interest to both HD & LE, and since I use both think that they should be on and the same software.

Of course to be really helpful 2 sessions could be opened at the same time! This would allow for a much easier import & export ease.

Yes, I would love there to be a single version of the software that would work across the various Hardware interfaces. Going from HD to LE is very painful. As tamas.dragon & ekolko seem to agree also.

A Memory list for each track (like the Sonic Solutions DAW had) would be nice.

I think a lot more of the data could be exported as text. Those Regions which are muted could be flagged. The Grouped regions' names...
