If I open a previous project or create a new project. And start mixing. If I decide to stop play and increase or decrease my buffer. Pro Tools (18.104.22.168) will crash.
OS: Windows 7 Ultimate 64bit (FRESH INSTALL)
INTERFACE: M-Audio ProFire 610
HARD DRIVES: 2x SandDisk SSD Model: SDSSDP-256G-G25
Troubleshooting I have tried:
I have done all Pro Tools suggested optimizations. (http://avid.force.com/pkb/articles/en_US/Troubleshooting/en349411)
I have trashed prefs.
I have installed EVERYTHING FRESH on another motherboard and cpu. (SAME ISSUE/BUG OCCURS)
I have tested the above actions in 10.3.10. NO PROBLEM. Works every time -- I can mix and change buffer as needed. =)
I have tested the above actions in 11.3.2 . NO PROBLEM. Works every time -- I can mix and change buffer as needed. =)
What seems to work:
I can only change my buffer prior to opening or starting a project. Which is highly inconvenient, because as one mixes he/she doesn't always know their CPU workload.
