It's great that you can add controllers to tracks in the Midi Editor. However, it needs to be enhanced so that if you navigate to a different track that doesn't have that controller added and then you navigate back to the track for which you originally added the controller, it is retained.
Sorry if this is a repeat request... I think it would be great if there was a MIDI GUI where you can visually drag and connect certain functions on a MIDI controller straight to the Plug-In or other part of Pro Tools for control. Have any EuCon controller map a Pro Tools track's Midi CC controls. In the case of the Artist Mix, it would control up to the first 8 midi CCs that are assigned to a channel. Cubase can control Midi CCs by its Quick Control feature, and this is activated on the controller by pressing and holding the EQ button on an Artist Mix (other controllers may vary), it would seem sensible to follow the same convention. Current Monitor Controllers effect the signal too much.
Pro Tools HD / Native needs remote (wired) a Monitor Controller to set the output level of the Main Outs (1-2). This way you can place your noisey hardware in another room (noise room) and have the controller set the output level "without" any audio compromise.
A Monitor Controller that sits on your desktop allowing you to control the output level of your Outputs.
I don't want to use an external Monitor Controller due to the phase differences and frequency shifting that they cause, a simple fader as a Master Out on my desktop could do the same thing.
Let us Custom plug-in map any parameter to "Any" Midi Controller (not just Avid apporaved ones) using the 'Right-click' button on our mouse? New Assignments would always overwrite Old Assignments Just right-click and just select controller of your choice, then may be 'save' my choice as MIDI Preset in some kind of drop down menu on the plugin, where you can bring up the settings again to overwrite the current settings... more »
