We adjust send levels in Pro Tools by mouse clicking on a bus, this loads a slim floating fader outside of the mix window. We then need to click and drag this floating fader to set the send volume level. Wouldn't it be great if we didn't need to open up the floating fader? Instead, we adjust the send level over the instance of the bus like a plug-in slider? This would save countless mouse clicks within a mix.
Current Monitor Controllers effect the signal too much.
Pro Tools HD / Native needs remote (wired) a Monitor Controller to set the output level of the Main Outs (1-2). This way you can place your noisey hardware in another room (noise room) and have the controller set the output level "without" any audio compromise.
Often in big sessions it's a bit confusing (to me) seeing all the (muted) coloured levels jumping up and down without hearing them. In my opinion this feature would improve the general overwiew in the mix window.
There could be a tick box in the preferences to allow muted track volume levels to be shown greyed out.

It is still impossible to make small incremental adjustments to the clip gain while in fullscreen and zoom mode (shortcut "E") without the level jumping down by 30 - 40 dB.
This happens because the mouse pointer is at the bottom of the screen, and as such, the only workaround is to make the edit window smaller. Let's hope for a fix by the end of 2018!
pink noise bounced into wav and mp3 causes a softer mp3 than the wav. anyone else ?
