De-activate one side of Multi-mono Plugins (not just bypass it)

Sometimes we need to add a plugin to just 1 side of a Stereo track, so we insert a Multi-mono plugin, un-link, then press the bypass button on the side we are not working on. But the problem with this is that the bypassed side is still using DSP power (even though it's on bypass), so what we need to do is to be able to "De-activate" the plugin on 1 side (or any other side on a surround track, LCR, Quad, 5.1, 7.1 etc...)... more »

Set default channel when opening linked multi-mono plug-ins

The feature to set default linked channel in plug-in to, for example, center when opening the plug-in. A lot of times in post we use multi-mono plug-ins and the default channel for monitoring the plug-in window is the left-channel, when it's often the case that we would like to monitor the center channel.

Signal Generator Plugin Presets Broken in Multi-Mono Mode

I tried this on multiple systems spanning multiple versions of Pro Tools. I don't know if it has ever worked properly. If I make a present of tones with all the channels unlinked, changing the preset doesn't recall all the settings for all the channels, only the currently selected channel.
