Edit Window Split View

The Ability to record in the "Clip Source Window" a wild mono or stereo track, where the clip ends up in the Clip menu or a specified folder i.e Wild VO Records, saves a lot of time and maintains a clean timeline, rather than having to navigate through unneeded extra
tracks and clips on the timeline which is very time consuming. please see attachment.
Have a feature in the Memory location window to put a clip separation everywhere there is a memory location marker for a highlighted track.
For those of us who edit LOTS of voiceovers, I will make separations at all the memory locations (bad parts in the script) so that when I'm editing....I don't move all the audio further down stream, causing it to be off it's marker.
I would love to have an option to switch MIDI editor to DRUM EDIT MODE where there would be diamond or triangle markers for note start without showing its length. Would be also nice to have a possibility to switch from classic piano roll to MIDI note number mode, to set names for notes, load and save note names to file and display custom layers (e.g. show only named notes or show notes defined by user).
After using the 'track freeze function' I wanted to trim and duplicate a portion of 'frozen' audio, but Pro Tools 12.4 does not allow this.
It would be good to allow basic editable functions of frozen audio clips, like functionality found in Ableton Live 9 software. Using Ableton we can currently move; edit, cut, copy, paste and trim AFTER tracks have been frozen.
It would be very handy to turn that function on and off via the prefs menu. In some situations like high speed editing it is very annoying to have the insertion/selection always jumping to grid mode.
Thanks
In the Edit Window Clipnames are not visible when using Automation View (Pan,Vol etc)
on Tracks.
They should be visible or , at least , there should be a preference to turn it on and off.
