Copy/paste from a session to another

It would be great to have the ability to open a session, select one or several clips and/or markers, or anything else, copy them, close the session, open another one, and paste it. Would be useful in addition to the "import session data..." that only works with tracks.

Export selected clips as new session

For example I intend to make a song "A". I create session then create instrument or audio track. I start sketching some ideas

And in the play process often I born completed ideas that do not fit the song "A" for some reason but it can be great idea for song "B". Select clip(s) and "Export selected clips as New Session" option would be great))

As it currently works, matching tracks and importing gives you of course plenty of options, but updating the... more »

Import Session Data "Match Tracks"- option to match based on waveforms instead of track names

It is my understanding that the match tracks function currently only looks at track names (correct me if I'm wrong).

There are times when tracks get renamed in a newer version of the session, but the waveforms stay the same. The match tracks function no longer works in cases like this.

This is very common, especially when creating a BWAV ADM from a .atmos file. When you create a PT session from a BWAV ADM, it gives... more »
