Push Soft Knob to toggle parameter (= SEL Button)

Using Soft Knob to control plug-ins on Pro Tools I Control is great, but, switching parameters by pressing the SEL iPad button is a pain, because it's neither precise nor direct.

It would be great if pressing a Soft Knob would simply switch between parameters.

Futhermore the current behavior (parameter reset) can be achieve by Alt-touching the knob.

EQ Cycling - in Channel view

When having multiple eq on a tracks, it is a pain to use the Pro Tools Control app (here on a Pro tools Dock) as we have to use the Insert page to access other Eq.

Not only the Insert view doesn't give a direct access to the Eq, but its mapping is different from the EQ page, and often inconsistent.

Please give us the ability to cycle between different EQ inserts from the EQ page.

Make Monitor / Control Room Knob Assignable

I propose making the Monitor / Control Room Knob Assignable to the fader of any track or to the default monitor path. This would give us true functionality for which this know was created. Another idea was to assigned that knob to the pan of the attentioned track. The right side of stereo tracks could be controlled by depressing the button while turning.

Rename "Pan" box to "Home" and Include Direct Access to Clip Gain, L/R Pan, EQ and DYN Params

In Channel View, I propose that the "Pan" tile be renamed to "Home" and shifted all the way to the left and be the default when selecting Channel View. The soft knobs could include direct access to clip gain, pan, high pass filter, frequency and gain of the basic 4 or 5 bands of the first eq plugin, attack, threshold and release of the first dynamics plugin and a page of assignable knobs for anything else. The concept ...more »
