Clip gain level jumps down when adjusting while zoomed in (E-key)

It is still impossible to make small incremental adjustments to the clip gain while in fullscreen and zoom mode (shortcut "E") without the level jumping down by 30 - 40 dB.

This happens because the mouse pointer is at the bottom of the screen, and as such, the only workaround is to make the edit window smaller. Let's hope for a fix by the end of 2018!

When Clip Groups are Created, color or shade differently

When you hit command + opt + G and group a series of clips, it's currently to hard to distinguish that group short of the tiny little text at the top left, that many of us with high res monitors can barely see. I propose that when you group clips, that group is either colored differently or at the very least has a slightly different (darker or lighter shade) than the rest of the clips on that track. Example of use in ...more »

Select all muted clip in one time

I need a function to select all the muted clip in the edit window in one time.

once all muted clip are selected, i can delete them, copy them in another place or in another playlist, color them, etc...

The focus is to clean a big session of post prod where all the non-used clips of multitacks audio files are muted.

But it should be usefull in another context.

Thanks

When using clip effects, my keyboard dies

When using clip effects, my keyboard dies. It works for about a minute then anything on the edit screen won't work.

Play, tab, shortcuts - all dead. I can save and access the top menu bar but nothing else.

It seems to only happen when you keep the clip effects window open.

When i toggle it open / closed, my keyboard will be fine.

As soon as I left the clip effect window open for a few minutes it froze again.

Preserve fade-length when clearing a clip with a crossfade

The resulting Fade-Out of the red clip should be the original length of the Crossfade (should sound the same), but the fade is instead trimmed to the middle of the Crossfade (half as long).

If instead the red Clip is cleared, then the same problem applies for the resulting Fade-In-Length of the blue clip: Only half of the previous (and expected) fade-length remains.

Separate Clips at all Memory Location Markers

Have a feature in the Memory location window to put a clip separation everywhere there is a memory location marker for a highlighted track.

For those of us who edit LOTS of voiceovers, I will make separations at all the memory locations (bad parts in the script) so that when I'm editing....I don't move all the audio further down stream, causing it to be off it's marker.

Export selected clips as new session

For example I intend to make a song "A". I create session then create instrument or audio track. I start sketching some ideas

And in the play process often I born completed ideas that do not fit the song "A" for some reason but it can be great idea for song "B". Select clip(s) and "Export selected clips as New Session" option would be great))

Overlapping Clips : not just a Dog Ear, but a line that shows the border of the underlying Clip

The clip border of the underlying clip could be a dotted line. That dotted line could be reached by a TAB. Like one can Tab to crossfade start and end already. So, with a Tab to the underlying clip start and a Shift-Tab to the end of the overlaying clip, that selection could be used for a crossfade. Maybe as a preference : Tab to clip boundaries, Sync Points, Fade borders AND underlying clip boundaries. (Yes, I know about ...more »

Audio Wild Record / Audio Clip Selection "Clip Source Window"

The Ability to record in the "Clip Source Window" a wild mono or stereo track, where the clip ends up in the Clip menu or a specified folder i.e Wild VO Records, saves a lot of time and maintains a clean timeline, rather than having to navigate through unneeded extra

tracks and clips on the timeline which is very time consuming. please see attachment.
