For all users of Artist Mix consoles - I know Euphonics came from broadcast market, where ON is commonly used instead of MUTE, but Pro Tools is rather post-production tool than broadcast. And we rather use MUTE than ON 😀 I thought it would be great if functions of Solo and On buttons can be swapped by preference setting of EuControl (because I suspect LED colors are not controllable in such small consoles). I really ...more »
One nifty little feature I would like Pro Tools to implement would be to see which tracks are muted (and soloed) in the track list. In big sessions with a lot of tracks, it happens to lose sight of such tracks. I think it would be faster to scroll the track list and instantly find the muted track, and then being able to reach them faster.
Is it possible to implement the feature, when you press volume up - volume goes up on the master track. When you press volume down - volume goes down on the master track,
If the mute button is pressed - it activates mute on the master track.
I need a function to select all the muted clip in the edit window in one time.
once all muted clip are selected, i can delete them, copy them in another place or in another playlist, color them, etc...
The focus is to clean a big session of post prod where all the non-used clips of multitacks audio files are muted.

Whenever live monitors are involved and pre-fade auxes are used to send to them, as a live mixer it is imperative that the channel mute also mute the pre-fade signals to monitors. There is needed a button, just like the FMP to follow main Pan we need FMM for follow main mute. In a live situation, when a mic is not being used, then the mixer wants that signal out of the monitors too. Take for example a reed player with ...more »
When soloing one or more channel, all other channel mute buttons lit up. This is not the appropriate behaviour. Their state should stay the same, just like in the edit- and mix windows. There is no reason why those mute buttons lit up, as it is already indicated that tracks are soloed, by their solo buttons being lit, as well as by the blinking clear solo button.
I have Altiverb 7 on a Aux Reverb track. I use Sends on the channel to route signal to this. Randomly it seems to stop sending signal to the Send? Resolve is to Deactivate & then Reactivate the Send.
Add a control room pannel with a fader or knob to control the listening output volume and surround tools like mute and solo for each channel.
