Just like Clip Gain and the Clip Gain line, it would be rad if the result of any clip-based effects would update the clip(s) waveform overview.
Having the clip Waveform overviews re-calculate for Clip-based FX (Filter/EQ/DYN) would be tremendous.
In the same way the clip-based Gain line does this.
Having a match EQ function within Clip Effects would be very useful. Especially in post.
During a sound effects editing session where a lot of Audiosuite processing is used it would be useful if Pro Tools would automatically save a copy of the pre-processed clip to a playlist. I usually duplicate this down myself so if I come back to the clip and I no longer like the fx precessing then I have the original below in the playlist ready to retrieve. It would be handy to retrieve parameter settings from a clip that has been processed by an Audiosuite plugin If you wanted to go back to a processed clip at a later stage and couldn't remember how exactly you processed it you could right click on the clip and there would be an 'Audiosuite Memory' option. As a sound designer and editor clip-based EQ has gotten so much use from me. Please add a basic pitch shift functions to the clip-based interface, it would save so much time for sound design. I know elastic properties can do something similar, but that requires having elastic audio enabled on the track and I'd prefer to see the pitch shift in semi-tones.
