When doing multiple bounce-to-disk operations from the same session, for instance when creating stems, I want to be in charge of changing the filename myself. Since I'm already going in and changing part of the filename (eg "_drums" to "_BVs"), I have no need for the automatic "_1" that Pro Tools wants to add every time. I'm currently about to start producing up to 7 stems per session from around 400 sessions, which will... more »
Wondering why the necessity to go the bin to export. Why can't you just right click on the clip that you want to export?
For example I intend to make a song "A". I create session then create instrument or audio track. I start sketching some ideas
And in the play process often I born completed ideas that do not fit the song "A" for some reason but it can be great idea for song "B". Select clip(s) and "Export selected clips as New Session" option would be great))
Select Clips by Color will really help to extent your workflow.
- When recording dialogue/Foley/Soundscapes and selecting the best takes.
- Preparing ADR & Foley tracks
- Export different stems all over your session.
- And way more options
And to finish this idea, Make the colors available for Apple Script or Something else programmable.

I want to Export a Linked AAF with Clip Gain (plus the Automation) and Clip Mute. This because I want to... more »
Pro Tools has a function to Export Audio Regions as Files, but there is no MIDI equivalent. The workaround is very time consuming.
Please add "Export MIDI Regions as Files"
EDIT: I'm aware that you can Export the track as one MIDI file -- Export Audio Regions as Files lets you export all separated regions on a track or in the Region List as separate Audio files. There is no MIDI equivalent.
