It would be great if I could pan a send using the surround panner. Currently, the PT Control app can only pan a surround send using the individual parameters and not the touch screen panner.
Changing the track view to a sends level (or mute and pan for that matter) is ridiculously involved considering how often this task is performed, especially when all 10 sends are being used on a track. As far as I can tell, Option-clicking on a send does nothing other than open that sends fader. So it would be nice to add some functionality to an Option-Click on a send. Option-Click the send and the track view changes ...more »
We adjust send levels in Pro Tools by mouse clicking on a bus, this loads a slim floating fader outside of the mix window. We then need to click and drag this floating fader to set the send volume level. Wouldn't it be great if we didn't need to open up the floating fader? Instead, we adjust the send level over the instance of the bus like a plug-in slider? This would save countless mouse clicks within a mix.
ProTools has Pre/Post-fader sends. Sometimes I need to send the signal without processing of plugins. The naming can be e. g. PI (Pre-Insert). The colour can be e. g. yellow. Pre-fader sends are blue.
in a session with considerable amount of busses it's virtually impossible to assign busses on sends or I/O's in a reasonably convenient matter. This could be hugely improved by spilling them across the lcds, or first browsing 'subgroups' (e.g. bus 1-20, bus 21-22, ...) before browsing the actual busses. Or maybe a combination, just like when inserting plug-ins (which works very nicely)
Add mix preference: Sends default to [insert user definable number here] dB
In addition to the 'Sends default to -INF' pref, it would be great to have another option that allows the used to set a value.
Thanks for voting this idea up.
I have Altiverb 7 on a Aux Reverb track. I use Sends on the channel to route signal to this. Randomly it seems to stop sending signal to the Send? Resolve is to Deactivate & then Reactivate the Send.
