Whenever I bank tracks on the Artist Mix, ProTools mix/edit windows do not 'scroll into view' to the tracks Artist Mix is banked to. It does work the other way around though, when the track is selected in the mix or edit window, the Artist Mix banks to that track. So please make ProTools respond to track banking on the Artist Mix with the 'scroll into view' behaviour. I've read the forums and I know this is not new,... more »
Shift-touching a fader to set level to 0 dB is not consistent in the Artist/MC Mix. If you shift-touch the fader really fast (your touch is very quick and light), it works. If your touch MOVES the fader when shift-touching it, even slightly, or the touch lasts longer than a fraction of a second, it doesn't work. In this case, the DAW (in my case Logic) still registers it as shift-touch and the fader in the UI moves... more »
This is driving me mental.
I have 3 x MC Mixes,1 x transport running eucon 2.6 with latest firmware running PTHD2 9.0.3
When I drag an audio file from the finder into the region list, all my faders slide over by 1 strip each time to the left, even though no new tracks are being created.
There's no reason for it. Leave the console alone!! :(
http://www.avid.com/US/products/Artist-Mix/features it says, "Supports EUCON, HUI and Mackie Control protocols" While the faders/mutes all work with recording and motorized playback, - 0 dB in the DAW places the fader between the 0 and 6 positions, not at 0. - It's not possible to navigate the faders to control return channels or the Master channel. - Only Channel 1 shows any VU-Meter. I believe the level shown reflects... more »
Everytime I restart my Mac Pro I have to reinstall Eucon 3.2.2, otherwise Logic 10.1.1 crashes during startup while "starting up eucon support".
Avid have changed plugin mappings on the artist series controllers with EQIII and Chanel Strip beginning in protools 11 and on, that's all I've personally noticed; this might have happened with other Avid plugins as well! In protools 10 we'd have access to freq/gain/Q all on one page and now in 11 and up Q is only accessible when you hold down the shift key and touch the frequency knob or if your working in plugin flip... more »
AVID claims they fixed it in EC3.2.2 but it's still doing it.
When creating track with EUCON 3.12 for windows 7 and PT10.3.7.
While creating track when you can't toggle the type of track nor use the row buttons...all buttons on the page will only change number of tracks only.
The normal shift alt/opt commands to not work from the surface. Example...you want to change all the outputs on several tracks. It's usually done by selecting all tracks Shift alt/opt key then change the output on one of the tracks....... This doesn't work from the surface but does via the keyboard short cuts... I will also throw this in there as well......while on my windows laptop it is showing the mac softkeys....It... more »
Even with the box ticked in the EUCON settings, the plugin window will not close when backing out back into the track view "home" screen. The plugin window will OPEN when calling it from an Artist Control, but it will not CLOSE when backing out of it like it's supposed to.
EuControl 3.7 - Mac OS X
Revision date: Oct 10th, 2017
every time I launch EuControl app, it crashes.
I have attached one of the crash reports.
Since the latest firmware update, the bars and/beats sub counter is chopped off by 4 pixels/out of alignment. Really - do you guys even check stuff?
When you click on "Artist Series Download page" in EuControl's Help menu you are taken to a nonexistent page on the avid site. Result: 404 Page not found.
When you want to add a ruler or take one out of view, it will automajically change you off the edit screen.
THe edit screen is where you view the rulers....so you have to switch back to the edit screen to see the original view that you were adjusting.
I have noticed recently that while working in Pro Tools, some of the faders and rotary encoders will randomly stop responding to touch. Banking over and back again occasionally fixes the issue, but not always. I have used the hardware test mode to verify that this is not a hardware issue.
