For a good dynamic range throughout the entire PT system and to keep digital artefacts like quantization noise to a minimum i'd like to see full 32-bit file support.
Remove track/bus limitations for Native or at least unbundle them from Video and offer them at a reasonable price.
ReWrite PT Native into something new and forward thinking. Go beyond making it a program that will work inside of a 64 bit environment and make a truly 64 bit program in it's own right. Give it a set of features that not only meets what your competiton is offering, but exceeds it on all fronts.
Raise the bar and let Native take full advantage of the awesome power of todays PC's and Mac's.
The mp3 option should become a standard feature, instead of the extra cost addition it is now. The ability to choose an encoder (LAME, etc..) would be nice as well.
Keyboard shortcut for new playlist
No limit or at least 16384
Make LE working on M-Audio interfaces then drop LE and make it Native.
I need a key-mouse combination to bypass all plugins on a given track.
EQ and gain parameters could be assigned to clips. This would greatly simplify automation and editing especially in post production.
It woud be nice if I could run a native version of PT on any audio-hardware.
Pro Tools should be able to Bounce To Disk faster than real-time.
Real-Time Bounce To Disk should still be an option since some sessions use outboard gear (hardware inserts, sound modules, etc.).
Please allow more than one open Audio Suite window.
More undo and redo than 32 in pt le. An extra window where you can see a list with the last executed tasks
Increased in Pro Tools 11.0 to 64 Levels:
It would eliminate the awfully slow process of importing session data, copying plugins, deleting tracks, etc.
(Changed from "Channel Strip Presets" to avoid confusion with the Channel Strip plug-in.)
don't you guys think it's scandalous to pay for such a basic function ?
look at Logic or Digital Performer
