I'm always juggling and deleting patches.
The HD500 has 512 user patches available in 'banks'.
Could the amount in the 11R at least be doubled?
Banks would be great as well. i.e. Headphones/recording, Live FRFR, Live Poweramp etc
Make the trem an effect so I can select it as a Mod.
I'm running a preamp into my 11R and I can use everything FX wise except the trem and I love the 11R trem!
As it already exists I imagine it would be a cinch to make it a 'true' selectable effect.
Yes, it is happening...Line 6 is releasing the HD series of POD. Likely next month as there are already ads floating around in magazines. It's been claimed by Rich from L6 (he's an extremely reliable source that puts alot into the community) that the HD series POD is 'the next step' for realistic modelling. Aparently, not just compared to their previous L6 products, but in comparison to the whole modelling industry. ...more »
Now this may be controversial but... If it drove development of the Eleven Rack (which has been very slow), would you pay (a la Line 6) for model/Fx packs? I believe there is a firmware update being worked on at present but if we got a decent release cycle happening (like the AxeFx), would you pay? I've bought L6 model packs previously so I guess for $50 or $100, I would be happy to buy a new set of amps/fx; ...more »
Call it 'traditional' or 'modular' in the setup menu so we can either keep FX in the 'correct' place (mod's under the Mod button etc) or just mix it up as we see fit.
Being able to run 2 delays would be handy for example and having a Flanger and EQ and Chorus but ditching the OD and having for example a trem available could suit many clean players.
This could be a block dedicated for a Parametric EQ or to use another drive/mod etc.
Think of it as a second 'page' option so we still have enough buttons.
Being able to have two drive blocks for example would be very handy, as we could switch between an OD and higher gain dist patch.
It would also provide a position for a parametric EQ as well.
A hi gainer and dedicated cab for this genre that is voiced specifically for chug - slightly scooped, a beefy bottom end with just enough cut to not get buried in a mix. Something bigger and nastier than the amps already present that will handle extremely heavy modern metal. The biggest complaint directed at the 11R is the lack of really tight, high gain amps. I think we need a few and a suitable cab (or two) that ...more »
That 'nu metal' clean sound from modern high gain amps running on the clean channel. It's got a sound all it's own and whilst it isn't exactly a 'wonderful' clean, but is a part of modern hi gain music.
Note: this was meant to be in the Eleven Rack area... A new feature similar to 'Rig Out Cab off' but have 'Rig Out Cab Off + FOH' so we can have cab modeling on the mains and it off on Output 1+2 simultaneously. This way we don't need to manually setup patches everytime we want to run FOH and monitor at the same time. If this can be done, reverb needs to be included on the cab off option for Output 1+2. - Parametic ...more »
