HEAT from ProTools HD on Eleven Rack could be cool.
A Tape Emulation block would be really cool for Eleven Rack. Using the current Tape Delay yields really cool results (with feedback and delay time all the way down, mix all the way up) but is impossible to use in realtime in that manner due to the minimum 10ms delay time. Being able to use the tape section of the Tape Delay (in stereo, Mix, Rec level and head parameters) without the actual delay could be really useful ...more »
Introduce new MIDI CC commands that will control both Volume and Wah blocks. One would toggle between Wah On/Volume Off, and Wah Off/Volume On, and the other would control both positions simultaneously.
This way the user could get away with only using one Expression pedal, while still controlling and switching between both blocks.
Simply, support the transmission of tuner information via MIDI to the floorboards that support it!
Currently there is no way to display the tuner aside from the built in LCD screen. It would be really useful to be able to view it from the floor!
A model of the BK Butler Tube Driver for the Distortion block would be nice.
Pretty self explanatory....cut down on the lag between patches on Eleven Rack. It's been mentioned on DUC that current switching time is around 60ms but that it may be possible to cut it down to 20ms. Please, Avid!
A relative mode from the knob action would be nice. Instead of the values jumping up/down because the knob position doesn't correlate, the knob could just +/- the value it's turned. Much easier to deal with. Line 6 has a similar feature on their HD500.
The MDW (Massenburg) EQ is a very powerful and clean parameteric EQ that already exists for RTAS/TDM. It would probably be relatively easy to port it for 11r (as Avid did with Reverb One/Eleven SR). 3 bands, plus high and low filters would be indispensable on 11r. I often have trouble dialing out specific annoying frequencies, or balancing the right amount of low end without it being too boomy. 11r currently completely ...more »
A standalone editor for Eleven Rack (outside of ProTools) would be a crucial addition for Eleven Rack owners. Launching ProTools just to access Eleven Rack's editor is totally excessive, and uses up too much RAM and system resources.
Delay spillover while switching patches on Eleven Rack would make for smoother, more natural transitions between sounds.
There is currently no way to send a full rig with cab out the Mains and a full rig no cab to Amp Outputs. The guys at Avid mentioned that there is no way to do so because it would use more DSP. If the Amp and Cab blocks were separate, the user could put the cab at the end of the chain, and select between full rig pre-cab or full rig for either output. No extra DSP needed!
A cleaner studio style compressor would be a great addition to the FX block on the Eleven Rack. The addition of ratio/attack/release controls would be handy for controlling post-amp dynamics
Dyn III added in EXRP.
